You will lose friends, but some will stay.

I'm sorry but you have to get used to it, especially if you think you've always been the glue that keeps everyone together. Life will simply move everyone into their own direction, and our lines might not intersect with one another in the future. But it's nothing to be afraid of. Why should it be? Stop thinking that your friends from university and high school will be the only friends you'll ever make. Some won't. But don't think everyone will leave you behind. The people that will stay with you, will stay with you. Let's just leave it at that.
